Dear Student Candidates of Food Engineering Department,
Çankırı Karatekin University Food Engineering Department was established in 2010 as a part of the Faculty of Engineering and started to accept students in 2011. Our department operates in Uluyazı Campus. Our department is one of the leading departments because of TÜBİTAK and BAP projects completed by our academic staff. TÜBİTAK and research projects are carried out with both undergraduate and graduate students. Food Engineering laboratory applications and research studies are carried out in the laboratories of our Department in the laboratory building. Our Department, which is well equipped in terms of laboratory infrastructure and physical conditions, has Instrumental Analysis Laboratory, Food Chemistry Laboratory, Food Microbiology Laboratory, Sample Preparation Laboratory, and Research Laboratories. With the help of applied courses and the devices used in laboratory lessons, our students graduate with great knowledge about the laboratory. Our students graduate with knowledge of the sector through numerous technical tours held in many food factories in our city and surrounding cities in Turkey. Domestic internship opportunities are provided to the students of our department. Our students can participate in international education and internship activities with the ERASMUS program. Our graduates make proud of us by finding employment opportunities in leading institutions of the state.
