
The rehabilitation of inmates at the Çankırı Orta Security Prison, their reintegration into society, their acquisition of a profession they can pursue after release, and their emotional and social development are facilitated by the bakery workshop completed within the Medium Security Prison. This initiative aims to provide inmates and staff with a source of daily bread, while also enabling inmates and staff to develop their skills and contribute to the community. and to contribute to the conscious food production of the staff and inmates working in the bakery workshop completed within the Orta Open Prison, which also partially meets the daily bread needs of the staff and the district, on 03/10/2025, our department`s faculty members, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Deniz Baş on Food Safety and Quality, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sezin Tuta Şimşek on Food Hygiene and Sanitation, and Dr. Seda Özgen on Grain Technology, both in theory and practice.
